| How Do We Do It? We strive to produce the best quality danes possible, we believe in health testing and though it is not perfect we believe it has bettered our breeding program. All of our dogs are members of the family and are well socialized from birth. They are raised in our home as family members and take turns traveling with us to shows. We started out with a black/blue line and then brought home our first mantle great dane in 2003. . .this branched us in to the Harlequin color family. In 2006 we had a fawn land in our lap, not just any fawn--a fawn from one of the top males in the Us. This led to our 2nd Shadow puppy Willow. How do we do it? We borrowed a page from BMW great danes . . . we have friends. As the years have gone on we started an on line group to cultivate interest in showing and performance events with my owners. It gives owners a place to post their puppies pictures, talk with each other and learn from people that have owned danes for years. They follow our show info and watch whole families of danes grow up. This little group has branched in to a pretty big group, many of my owners meet for play dates, travel with me to shows and help with training and socialization by taking on a young dog for a few weeks here and there. We are not just TTS Great Danes we are TEAM TTS. Is this how we make a living? Nope. Not a single one of us lives off of our dogs. All of us hold a real job in the real world or have husbands that do. We manage to balance our family lives with our hobby and our collective love for great danes. Who else is involved? Breeders: Kymber Roldan-Tyner (TTS Great Danes) Bianca Gonzalez ( Pegasus Great Danes) Audrey Blackmon ( Azal Great Danes) Jennifer Maskee (Redemption Great Danes) There are other breeders we work with but that do not live local or do not show with us, we also have several up and coming owner handlers that have joined Team TTS. Karen Derrick ( Willy's owner) Natanie Cogburn ( handler in training) Kristina Kobel ( Maya and Max's owner) We have 3 lines we are working with. Blue/Black, Harlequin/Mantle and Fawn/Black/Brindle On Average we have one litter per color per year with EXCEPTION to Harlequins which do not breed true--meaning if you breed a harl to a mantle you are not guaranteed to get either color. If there is not a puppy in the litter for us we will try again. |
